Hello from 1st grade! We are celebrating
Election Day, Veteran’s Day and
Thanksgiving Day!!

We want to say “Thank you” for all the items you’ve provided that your student
brought for the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. There are still a few days to
send a small item if you can. Packing Day will be a thrill on the 9th! The students are
so excited to write notes to the children receiving the gifts. When we discover where
the boxes are delivered, we’ll have a Google Earth lesson. The 1st grade students hope
to fill many shoeboxes!!!

Spring is here and we want to finish our
1st grade year strong!

Easter was our last class party for the school year. This is a great
moment to say “thank you” to all the moms, dads, grandmas, and
grandpas that have brought snacks for the class and enjoyed the
parties with us.

grade, are going to finish the year strong!!

Families are invited to our “Fun Awards” ceremony the last day of
school. Every student will receive a special award that is unique to
them. We plan to have the award time at 3 o’clock on Thursday,
May 25th. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

What’s the Bingo Board?


To motivate the students toward good choices, they are given numerous
opportunities through the school day to get their name on the BINGO board just by
listening, following directions, participating, and so much more. On FUN Friday one
square from the BINGO board is drawn from a container and whoever’s name is in
that square wins a prize out of a special reward jar. Hurray for making great choices!!
