MOUNTAIN IN SLOVAKIA
The Tatra Mountains, Tatras or Tatra , are a
mountain range that form a natural border
between Slovakia and Poland. They are the
highest mountain range in the Carpathian
Mountains.
- The Tatra Mountains are located in an area of 785 km² and these mountains
610 km² are located in Slovakia. While 175 km² are in the territory of Poland.

- The highest peak is Gerlach with a height of 2,655 m, this peak lies to the
north of the city of Poprad in Slovakia
Around tatra mountains we can find a very beautiful
waterfall, and several other points of interest.
The Tatras are protected by law by the establishment
of the Tatra National Park, Slovakia and the Tatra
National Park, Poland. Which are jointly entered in
UNESCO's World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
