Creation of policies & guidelines IT Policy and Electronics Policy in place
New policy for IT/ITES companies to set up their
establishment in plug n play basis
Establishment of ITIRs ITIR in Vizag - Proposal submitted to GoI. Approval in process

Setting up of 20 EMCs In principle approval for 2 EMC’s at Anantapur and Chittoor

received. Proposal for 2 EMC’s at Vizag and Kakinada
submitted to GoI. Approval in process.
Blue print for Mega & smaller IT Approx. 1700 acres earmarked. Respective collectors
hubs/layouts requested to give advance possession of identified lands to
APIIC
Marketing campaign for ‘Advantage 33 IT promotion events organized; Planned visit to US and

AP Fibrenet (RFP underway); E-pragati (Launch on 9th Oct.);
E-office (implemented in 33 offices)
Startup Villages/Incubation Centers at Vizag, Kakinada and
Tirupati operational. Foundation stone laid for Incubation
Tower at JNTU Anantapur.
156 startups incubated
8 programs in collaboration with key players in IT Domain
(Infosys, Autodesk, IBM, SAP etc) underway. Approx. 7,000
students benefitted from the programs so far.
Budget of 100 Cr earmarked. Approved by Hon’ble CM
Tirupati Smart City Project with NEC; Vijayawada/Vizag

 Aggressive promotion of EMCs – ELCENA / Ragmayuri at Anantapur and Sri City EMC at
Chittoor

 Identification and earmarking of lands for setting up of IT companies in Visakhapatnam,

Capital region and Anantapur in coordination with District Collectors

 Construction of IT towers through PPP model at Visakhapatnam and Tirupati

 Identifying Pilot incubators at Tirupati, Anantapuramu and Kakinada Incubation, including

Women Incubation Centers

 Encouraging Engineering Colleges to set up Incubation Centers.

 Setting up of FABLABs in collaboration with MIT

 Promotion of Sister City Concept agreements for promotion of Smart Cities in the State

 Redefine and streamlining the services through State Enterprise Architecture

 Augmenting IT employability through imparting skill development training in ESDM etc.
