BOSSYPANTS- TINA FEY
•This book made me realize how sometimes you can not please
everyone and not everyone is going to like you
•It highlighted my strengths it not giving up (exactly what Tina
Fey did) and also showed me that I need to be able to stand up
for myself
oTina Fey was able to do this throughout her career but I sometimes have
difficulty doing this
•This book is beneficial to my professional growth because…
oIt shows that as a leader you need to consider more than just yourself
oIt made me want to become a leader in my nursing career because Tina Fey
was looked up to and highly respected
oIt also really made me think to not get too worked up over things because
“Either way everything will be fine” (Fey, 2013, p. 249)
