 WHAT IS DISPOSABLE
CAMERA ?

• The disposable or single-use camera is a simple box camera sold with a roll of film
installed, meant to be used once. ( Cristy , 2006 )

•Most use focus free lenses. Some are equipped with an integrated flash unit, and
there are even water proof versions for underwater photography.

How disposable camera works ?

•When you take a picture, the film is spooled back

into the camera, creating a reverse process of
actual film cameras and eliminating the rewind
process all together.

• Prevent light coming into the camera when picture is taken

Shutter blade • Controls how long the film is exposed to light

Lens Holder • Redirect the beams of light bouncing of the object

Film • allow it to record images

Flash Unit • make a short flash of bright light when the shutter is released

View finder • Find views

Battery • Provide source of energy

Sprocket • Count amount of pictures left

Advance Wheel • rotates film

Empty Spool • Transmitting data into memory
