CREATED TO MAKE

A Difference
By: Dr.Pstr. Arnold C. Alvarez
GENESIS 1:26-28 NLT
26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like
us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the
livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that
scurry along the ground.”27 So God created human beings in his own
image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he
created them.28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and
multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the
birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”

1. Purpose Life
- Knowing Your Purpose Gives Direction

B. Give away your purpose (Matthew 25:14-30)
C. Passion
JEREMIAH 1:5-11 NLT
• “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were
born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”6 “O
Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too
young!”7 The LORD replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go
wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. 8 And don’t be afraid of
the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the LORD, have
spoken!” 9 Then the LORD reached out and touched my mouth and
said,“Look, I have put my words in your mouth! 10 Today I appoint you to
stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear
down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build upand plant.” 11 Then
the LORD said to me, “Look, Jeremiah! What do you see?” And I replied, “I
see a branch from an almond tree.”
PHILIPPIANS 3:13-14
13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not
achieved it, but I focus on this one thing:
Forgetting the past and looking forward to
what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the
end of the race and receive the heavenly
prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is
calling us.
MATTHEW 25:14-30 NLT
• 14 “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a
man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and
entrusted his money to them while he was gone. 15 He gave five bags
of silver to one, two bags of silver to another, and one bag of silver to
the last—dividing it in proportion to their abilities. He then left on his
trip.16 “The servant who received the five bags of silver began to
invest the money and earned five more. 17 The servant with two bags
of silver also went to work and earned two more.
MATTHEW 25:18-21 NLT
18 Butthe servant who received the one bag of silver dug a hole in the
ground and hid the master’s money.19 “After a long time their master
returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they
had used his money. 20 The servant to whom he had entrusted the five
bags of silver came forward with five more and said, ‘Master, you gave
me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more.’21 “The
master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You
have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you
many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’
MATTHEW 25:22-25 NLT
22 “The servant who had received the two bags of silver came forward
and said, ‘Master, you gave me two bags of silver to invest, and I have
earned two more.’23 “The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful
servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I
will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate
together!’24 “Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said,
‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t
plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate. 25 I was afraid I would
lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’
MATTHEW 25:26-30 NLT
26 “But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I
harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t
cultivate,27 why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I
could have gotten some interest on it.’28 “Then he ordered, ‘Take the
money from this servant, and give it to the one with the ten bags of
silver. 29 To those who use well what they are given, even more will be
given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do
nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. 30 Now throw
this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.’
“Life is all about giving not getting”
2 Corinthians 9:6-9
6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small
crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You
must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give
reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who
gives cheerfully.”8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then
you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share
with others. 9 As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give
generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”

God give his purpose

Hebrews 12:2 NLT

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the
champion who initiates and perfects our faith.
Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured
the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is
seated in the place of honor beside God’s
throne.
