 Ethics is the standard principles for acceptable

behavior and values. It has become our guide

when we make our decisions and actions.
What makes something right or wrong?
 Code of ethics- A written set of guidelines issued by an
organization to its workers and management to help
them conduct their actions in accordance with its primary
values and ethical standards.
Ethical Behaviors that should be observed in an
Organization:
1.Attendance 6. Productivity
2.Honesty 7. Transparency
3.Teamwork 8. Communication
4. Appearance 9. Cooperation
5. Attitude 10. Respect
When talking about the ethics in organization, one has to
be aware that there are two ways of dealing with ethical
problems in an organization.

 The Individualistic Approach- Every person in an

organization is morally responsible for his or her own
behavior and any efforts to change the behavior should
focus on the individual.
 Communal Approach- Individuals are viewed not in
isolation, but as members of communities or organization
that are partially responsible for the behavior of their
members. So, to understand and change an individual’s
behavior we need to understand and try to change the
organization to which they belong.
