behavior and values. It has become our guide
when we make our decisions and actions. What makes something right or wrong? Code of ethics- A written set of guidelines issued by an organization to its workers and management to help them conduct their actions in accordance with its primary values and ethical standards. Respect When talking about the ethics in organization, one has to be aware that there are two ways of dealing with ethical problems in an organization.
The Individualistic Approach- Every person in an
organization is morally responsible for his or her own behavior and any efforts to change the behavior should focus on the individual. Communal Approach- Individuals are viewed not in isolation, but as members of communities or organization that are partially responsible for the behavior of their members. So, to understand and change an individual’s behavior we need to understand and try to change the organization to which they belong.
