Architecture: BalaQuila, walls are decorated with finely
crafted with ancient scriptures and sculptures that
would take you back to those golden times. It is a
testimonial of Indo-Islamic architecture.
About The Hidden Treasure:
The main treasure item is said to be a drinking cup cut
out of a single emerald.
A larger no. of coins, ornaments, jewels, useful things of
war was found in this BALA QUILA fort.
Mogul Emperor Jahangir took refuge here when he was
exiled. Babur also stayed here.
It is also said that the treasure could not be recovered in full. Hence,
a large part of the treasure is still buried there.
Mogul emperors Babur and Akbar had an overnight stay.
Prince Salim (later Emperor Jahangir) was exiled for three years in
Salim Mahal as the outcome of banishment by Emperor Akbar.
