I. Introduction:
GPS

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based

navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites
placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense.
GPS was originally intended for military applications,
but in the 1980s, the government made the system
available for civilian use. GPS works in any weather
conditions, anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day.
Abstarct:
In the dynamic environments, the location
tracking process through the Global Positioning
System (GPS) helps to monitor the routes &
traffics. GPS receivers and sensors helps to
opportunistic collection of data from many users’
devices, with enabled collaborative sensing of
applications.
II. Objective
 Development of an improved anonymity in GPS traces
(routes and traffic)

 With the help of this one the high traffic areas , routes and
location data's to be mined

 Based on the information mined through GPS, pre or

alternative planning performed to resolve the traffic issues
in any time.
III. Existing System:

Already available location tracking GPS system using

spatial cloaking technique based on k-anonymity and
best effort algorithm.
IV. Modules of the Existing System
V. Problem Identification
Simultaneously not meet
Privacy
Data Accuracy

Known privacy algorithms cannot achieve high

application accuracy requirements or fail to provide
privacy guarantees for drivers in low-density areas.
VI. Proposed System

Design and development of an improved

anonymity in GPS traces of routes and traffic that
includes location traces from many users, using
uncertainty – aware path cloaking algorithm.
