FOLLOWING MEDIA
ACTIVITY

The task for each student is to discuss creating a slogan/sign/brochure or


typography poster for a client with specific needs.
based on the topics:
• Tourism Campaign – This will invite the readers to spend their summer
vacation in your city.
• Election Campaign – This will promote to the readers a local politician who
will run for mayor in the upcoming election.
• School Admission – This will advertise to the readers a college/university in
your place.
• Community Advisory – This will inform the readers about the new policy for
garbage collection schedule and segregation in your community
• Remind the learners of the principles of design. Bearing in mind the principle of contrast,
have them make some text elements large or bold while other text elements are thin or
small to create visual interest. The learners may also use basic shapes, lines, and some
symbols in this design activity

• Overall Presentation - 30%
• Relevance to the theme - 30%
• Neatness - 10%

• There will be three (3) winners for the contest: 2nd Place, 1st Place and Champion .

• The winners will receive Certificate of Recognition and prize in the next meeting from the
