 25 % of teaching positions are vacant nation wide

SOLUTIONS

 centralize the education system

 (NPE) national policy on education suggest to spent more than 6% of GDP on


education

 Launching and proper implementation of scheme eg.


 SSA, ICDP, MID DAY MEAL scheme

 NCHER (National commission on higher education &research)has been est. by


Prof. Yashpal committee as a regulatory body to have control over UGC, AICTE,
MCI, DCI
 More Focus should be given on practical aspect
