• The purpose of this Control-of-Work procedure is to reduce the level
of risk to which BP workforce is exposed, and to reduce the potential for BP operations to result in harm to others • This procedure is intended to strengthen the ability to deliver best-in- class HSSE performance by establishing mandatory requirements for the control of work activities. It is further intended that these controls be adopted by companies working on behalf of BP, including those performing work on BP controlled sites. Contractors who perform work on behalf of BP should have Control of Work programs that are as comprehensive as this procedure. What does Control of Work (CoW) look like ?
