Autonomy

Even though the individual autonomy is under the

organizational control and monitored by the administrations
in the aspects of performance and standards, beyond that it is
the professional's job to determine how best to deliver that
curriculum to the students in the classroom.

refer to teachers who represent

Qualification

There are also para-professional teachers, these may be

teachers who do not have the formal training or
qualifications as a teacher but because of skills or abilities
they are hired and paid as teachers. In these instances if
these individuals had prolonged training and formal education
in their fields while they may not be qualified teachers, they
could still be considered in the teaching profession.

Professional Behavior

So far, teachers obviously fulfill the criteria stated before. But

on the other hand, the statement is a subjective matter to
discuss as we do not have any tools to measure intentions and
interests. Hence, it wouldn’t make teaching as a profession
any less.
