Equator Gauge Transportation

WARNING – The Equator 300 gauge weighs 25kg and should only be
moved by two people using the hand location points provided in the
base casting.
Do not move or lift the machine by using the top casting, the support
arms of the constraint mechanism, the three drive struts (e.g. by holding
the orange protectors or any part of the drive strut mechanism), or the
support struts.

SP25 – How does it work
2 PSDs (in body)
2 IRED
detect stylus
Infrared Emitting Diodes (IRED) in the sources
deflection
SP25 body generate infrared light (in body)
pointing toward the SM25 module.
IRED
Mirrors in the SM25 module reflect beams
the light back toward the body.
2 Mirrors (in scan
2 Photo Sensitive Diodes (PSD) in module) reflect
the SP25 body detect the infrared beams back to

move changing the location of the
light on the PSDs
