Bible helps us to understand what our purpose in this life is.

John 10:10
For Jesus said: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the
full”

When you accept Jesus Christ as the Savior and Lord of our lives that
we can come to realize that He is the answer in helping us to live our
lives to the full—with meaning and purpose,

SCRIPTURE: Acts 2:42-47 (Day of Pentecostal)
1. Holy Spirit Poured that we might live to carry out the purposes that
the Lord has given us to fulfill

Which includes:
To worship God;
To work for God;
To be one with the family of God;
To walk with God; and to witness for God.
we see these five purposes being fulfilled by those first believers who
later became known as Christians.

2. God’s Word declares that as a believer in Jesus Christ, we have been
“created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance
for us to do”
(NIV, Ephesians 2:10).

Spiritual Gifts:
for instance: Hospitality, or encouragement, or teaching, or helping, or
Evangelism, or contributing to the needs of others

3. We need to be one in fellowship with the family of God.

• Encouraging and praying for one another

• “Fellowship” also includes sharpening of one another

4. Walking with God - set us free.

To overcome bondage become ‘’Doers of His Word’’ - to be demonstrating

the fruit of His Spirit

(see Galatians 5:22-23)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

His unconditional love, acceptance, and forgiveness towards others around us.

5. Unconditional Love
“All men will know that you are my disciples” (NIV, John 13:35).

• Demonstrating God’s unconditional love

• Demonstrating our faith by our willingness to take risks of faith

Unconditional love is the best gift you can give to anyone
