RPM (Revolutions per minute)

Measure of power

ABS (Anti-lock braking system)

Fuel Injection
R P M ( R E VO L U T I O N S P E R M I N U T E )

 It is the number of times the crankshaft of the engine

rotates in a minute.

 Commonly bike engines have 12000-14000 RPM when they

run at their top speed.
MECHANISM OF THE
SHAFT IN AN ENGINE
MEASURE OF POWER

 It is the amount of energy produced by the engine and to

what extent the engine can perform.
 It is measured by a device called dynamometer and it is
expressed in ‘ps’
 1ps=735Watts
ABS-ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM

 The ABS system monitors the motion of the wheels and it reduces
the braking pressure

 It is very useful in avoiding skidding in low traction situations

 Moreover, It is proved that the ABS system allows the vehicle to

come to a complete rest in lesser time than the non-ABS system.
ABS COMPONENT
FUEL INJECTION

 It is the direct introduction of fuel under pressure into the

combustion units of a combustion engine.

 It means that no carburetors are used for the introduction of fuel

into the engine
FUEL INJECTOR
ABOUT MY BIKE

It comes with a 200cc fuel

injected four stroke engine
and delivers power of
24.5ps
KAWASAKI NINJA H2R
NOT JUST A SUPERBIKE

It comes in the category of

hyper bikes because the word
superbike is very small for it.
998cc dual fuel injected
engine which delivers a
power of 300hp and easily
touch >300kmph
On a bike, nobody ever
asks, "Are we there yet?”
Thank You.
