INTRODUCTION
• Bell Pepper (Capsicum annuum L.)
• belong to the family solanaceae
• Cultivated in many countries around the world as a precious
vegatables with high biological value ( Molnar et. al., 2005)
• used in salads and in cooked dishes and are high in vitamin A and
vitamin C.
• well-known for the carotenoid content
Objectives of the Study
This study aimed to:
1. To determine the best treatment towards the growth of bell pepper.

2. To determine the best treatment towards the yield of bell pepper.


MATERIALS AND METHODS
Experimental Design and
Treatments
• Split plot in a Randomized Complete Block Design with three
replications
• Area was divided into three equal blocks with a measurement of 1x5
meters
• Each block was divided into 4 plots.
• Each plot has an area of 1x1.25 m.
• Planting distance is 0.5m x 0.5m
The different treatment used were
designated as follows:

T₀- Control
T₁- FPJ + FFJ
T₂- FFJ + Calphos
T₃- FPJ + Calphos
Data Gathered
Flowering Characteristics
• Days from transplanting to 1ˢᵗ flowering
• Days from transplanting to 1ˢᵗ harvesting

Horticultural Characteristics
• Plant height
Yield and Yield Components
• Number and weight of Marketable fruits
• Number and weight of Non-marketable fruits
• Fruit size (Polar and Equatorial)
• Total fruit yield
