Memoirist that has earned
numerous awards, such as the
Audie Award for
Autobiography/Memoir, and the
Goodreads Choice Awards Best
Memoir & Autobiography.

story of a girl that was born in Idaho that never got an
education as a child, or even set foot into a classroom
until the age of seventeen. She was born into a
survivalist family in the mountains and had to do lots
of work for her family that was secluded from society.
To get out of this difficult mess, she started to
educate herself with math and grammar. She
eventually got accepted to Brigham Young University.
