13.4 ACTIONS TAKEN TO OVERCOME
MISUNDERSTANDING
Overcoming a misunderstand may not be easy but one of
the way that might work is as a Muslims, we be an
example or model to other Muslims as emphasized in the
Quran (2:143).
Among the suggested ways is in the context of individual
and society.
13.4.1 IN THE CONTEXT OF INDIVIDUAL
1. Improve our identity or self-esteem.
a) By following the role model like Imam Al-Syafie and Al-Ghazali.
b) Increase our taqwa/piety and the consistency of our spiritual because it is Muslim’s source
of strength.
c) Follow the example of a successful individual.

2. Have an Aura, Charisma and Authority

Aura, Charisma and Authority is an award since birth but these aspects can be cultivated and
developed with consistency, perseverance and patience.
3. Fill in current knowledge
- Current knowledge is important for every individual and every Muslim individual is
ordered to gain knowledge in their life.
4. Mastering the skills of Science, Technology and ICT.
- Other than knowledge, skills and expertise in Science, Technology and ICT is also
needed for individual.
5. Appreciate the content of Al-Quran and Hadith.
- By appreciating the Al-Quran and Hadith also able to help speed up the process of
increasing self-esteem because the Al-Quran and Hadith is the perfect guidance
including motivation that we need.
 13.4.2 IN THE CONTEXT OF SOCIETY AND
COUNTRY
1. Increase the economics capacity
- In this Islamic World, we should build an good economic without depending too much on West
because they can drag the Islamic World to varieties of terms and rules.
2. Create and Strengthen the Technology, Science and ICT
- Islamic Countries should not ignore the development of Science, Technology and ICT to compete
at a global stage.
3. Forming a dynamic and proactive society
4. Enhance the cooperation between fellow Islamic countries in this world
5. Foster international relations well and effectively
