INTRODUCTION AND TASK AND
ACTIVITIES
ACADEMIC CLOSING
OVERVIEW

1. What is the corrosion level IF higher

condensate flow rate through it?
2. Does the higher condensate flow rate will
affect the longevity of the pipeline?
3. What are the optimum flow rate can be
apply on pipeline so it would not corrode in
a short period?

INTRODUCTION AND TASK AND
ACTIVITIES
ACADEMIC CLOSING
OVERVIEW

1. To study the relationship between erosion

corrosion and flow rate of condensate
in straight run pipeline.
2. To simulate the erosion corrosion rate
and flow rate of condensate in straight run
pipe-line using Computer Analysis
Engineering software.

ACTIVITIES
ACADEMIC CLOSING
OVERVIEW

1. Design and model the pipeline in Computer

Aided Design for analysis purpose.
2. Apply 2D (2-Dimension) engineering analysis
software to analyse the erosion corrosion rate
based on condensate flow rate.
3. Analyse data (from condensate flow rate
analysis) of condensate pipeline in corrosion
rate prediction software for erosion corrosion
rate.
4. Relate findings in analysis with the reliability
