The help of our sense's(sight,taste,smell,hearing,and
touch to describe a person or a thing.
Differentiate the objective and subjective
descrition.
DESCRIPTION PATTERN:
you are giving your readers a mental picture of what you have seen or
experience .To make this ''picture'' which is painted in your own words as
clear and as real as possible, you must observe and record specific details
that appeal to your readers senses (sight,hearing,taste,smell,and touch) so
that you can involve your readers enough for them to actually visualize the
things being describe.Thus, it is important to use specific and concrete
details.
creates images, establishes context, evokes modes,and aids in understading.

 requires you to record a series of detailed observations.The success of


a description lies in the different between what a reader can imagine
and what you actually saw and recorded.
A paragraph developed by descrition can be objective or subjective,giving
you a wide choice of tone, diction and attitude.
