Information is the lifeline of the organisation and we depend wholly on information and data to
exist as a business.
Information may be like customer and participant information , financial and sensible
information which may be stored on laptops and mobiles through to printed documents.

Guidelines are there in order to protect and safeguard
confidential and sensible information in order to protect
both the data and the reputation of the company and
industry.

-Best practices when it comes to handling client and participants confidential information.
-How to keep information safe around the office and while traveling.
-How to report data breaches and where you can find more about information security.
Things not to do:
-Opening sensitive emails in public areas can present a certain level of risk to the business.
-Disable your screensaver.
-Tailgating
-Guest Wi-Fi for visitors to separate GfK Wi-Fi.
Things to do:
-Password management .
-Contact company’s IT department to obtain visitors connectivity information.
-Report any software that appears to be malfunctioning.
