What challenges do

international students
at Stenden face when
studying abroad ?
• Many authors reported that
international students face
many challenges such as
language barriers, visa
problems, financial matters and
feelings of isolation.
• The purposes of this study are to
investigate what the challenges
are for international students at
the educational institution, and to
provide a better insight for
educators and counselors how
they can improve their services,
and support the students better.
• This study was conducted by
creating a questionnaire based
on our research question, and
gathered responses from
random international students
in Stenden university.
• A random sampling approach was
used to recruit 10 international
students (6 males and 4 females)
with various nationalities, ages and
majors pursuing in ELC, IHM and
Tourism Management in Stenden
university.
