HOME

Health promotion at home is an effort to empower the

members of a family in case they will know, have willingness,
and be able to practice health and clean life behavior and also
actively take an action in health campaign in the society.

DEFINITION
FAMILY APPROACH

The family approach is one of the Puskesmas

ways to increase the reach of targets and bring /
improve access to health services in their working
areas by visiting families. The Puskesmas does
not only provide health services inside the
building, but also goes out of the building by
visiting families in its working area.

 2. MOTHER AND CHILD HEALTH (KIA)

A program that includes service and maintenance of pregnant

women, maternity mothers, postpartum mothers, mothers with
obstetric complications, family planning, newborns, newborns with
complications, infants and toddlers, adolescents, and the elderly.
3. PEDOMAN GIZI SEIMBANG

An efforts to balance out nutrients and incoming nutrients

by monitoring weight regularly.

Four Pillars of PGS:

1. Eating a variety of foods
2. Adapting clean living behavior
3. Perform physical activity
4. Maintain and monitor normal weight (BB)
4. JAMBAN SEHAT

A building that is used to dispose of feces or human waste for a

family that has “healthy latrine terms and criteria”.
