Miyamoto’s Antenna Controller .
antenna controller amplifies control signals from the computer and applies the control to the
antenna rotor. Further it measures the current angles (azimuth and elevation) of the antennas using
potentiometers. These signals are feed back to the PC.
Radio Receiver.
The radio is the ICOM R8500 that is used to received the signal and sent to PC.
Low-noise amplifier (LNA)
Used to amplify very weak signals (captured by an antenna). It is usually located very close to the
detection device to reduce losses in the feedline.
Antenna.
1. UHF Yagi antenna –Cubesat
2. VHF Yagi antenna 137 Mhz-NOAA
3. S-band Dish antenna –Cubesat
Satellite Tracking Program.
Give reference to makes antenna point towards the satellite when it is in range.
