Who?

 This project is for the 4th grade students at Wagram, boys and girls.
Purpose

 The purpose of this project is to have a group of influential people, with strong
representations at Pembroke to help others. This is to encourage and inform students of
necessities in life, and things that will help them grow as an individual.
 The women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and the men of Omega Psi Phi
Fraternity Incorporated are in place to be mentors for the 4th grade boys and girls, they
are invited to talk about leadership, growth, positive mindsets, attendance and give
helpful tips as far as studying, gaining relationships as well as building bonds with those kids
in need of a positive role model.
Where and When?

 Wagram Elementary
 I am looking to start mid April, I am currently still waiting on the background checks that
will allow the women and men to come speak. Once they get approved I plan to start
ASAP.
 I will ask them to possibly come once or twice a month and monitor the progress of the
students then determine if they should come more often.
Reason Behind Project…

 I chose to have these women and men of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated to come speak because it will allow these two
organizations the opportunity of service, as they stand for. This will also give them the
opportunity to be positive impacts in some individuals lives. This will allow bonds to be built
and a positive impact on students that may be missing that aspect at home. This will give
students an extra boost to be better than they are and to set examples for those coming
under them. This will give the students tips that will help them be successful in the future.
