•INTRODUCTION:

RAILWAY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is an online portal which is

specially designed as per the convenience of the passengers . using this
website passenger can get the information of the trains ,the timetable of
the special trains arranged on the special occasion , the person can
book online ticket from anywhere , one can also order the meals in the
train or on the platform as per given menu and prices , also passenger
gets information about the rail wire wifi project where wifi systems are
installed ,one can register and login on the portal, and also can gain
information about INDIAN RAILWAYS.

 USER INTERFACE USING HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT,

BOOPTSTRAP, PHP.

 SOFTWARE USED FOR DATABASE APPLICATION:

XAMPP.

 WEB BROWSER USED : GOOGLE CHROME

•OBJECTIVE:

Railway Management system is a portal in which the user can book

the tickets online as well as can book the meals along with the ticket.
The main objective of this project is to make the user interface more
simple and easy so that the user can book the ticket and can get the
services which are made available for the customers by the railways.
All the information related to trains , their schedule ,and the
information regarding the Indian Railways are made available to the
users at a time.

In this project, the user is provided with responsive web site that can be
used to book tickets online , check status of trains ,order of meals .
Project has several qualities such as enhanced performance, scalability,
built-in security and simplicity. Using the above mentioned software we
have implemented the project which has interactive web pages and the
user friendly UI..
