Status of Contextualization especially
Lesson plan, Learning Materials
Developed
• AOSNHS status of contextualization specifically in Junior
high school the integration of local cultures and tradition
has implemented however not fully practiced. Some
teachers handling subjects in which local literature can
be taught are not IP’s.

• Thus, it is recommended that teachers needs trainings on

the contextualization of their lessons and LM’s and be
able to use the local literatures and other localize and
indigenous learning materials.

Best Practices
Maintaining high respect on Blaan
performing arts through the use of
authentic Blaan musical instruments and
Not Pre-recorded and wearing of Blaan
prescribed attire every stage
presentation. The use of any materials
that are inappropriate in the Blaan
culture is always descourage.
Challenges Encountered
 The influence of technology in the millennials
which hugely affects their cultures and traditions
like the use of other foreign language which
might affect the Blaan language.

 Also, the Blaan customs and traditions- the

respect for elders and the students sense of
appreciation to Blaan culture has been
influenced by mostly cultures they have
acquired from what they have seen in social
media.
Intervention & Recommendations
Have the students get oriented with
social media etiquettes through
symposium.
Strengthen the students sense of
appreciation to Blaan cultures and
Traditions through integrating it in
the subjects taught by the teachers.
