The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK)

should read and understand the
intent and content of the PYDP
2017-2022.

In order to translate the PYDP into

local plans, the SKs should
understand first the needs of the
youth in the local context.
The SKs should gather youth data from the
following:
– Community-based Monitoring System (CBMS)
– Local Development PLan
– Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP), if
available
– Other local studies or statistics on youth data

The SK Federation President

gathers the Federation officers
to draft the LYDP based on the
context of the local youth.

finalizes the LYDP.

LYDO reviews the ABYIP to check for
consistency and to determine its
compliance with Section 20 of RA
10742

Once ascertained to be compliant,

LYDO endorses the ABYIP to the
Local Sanggunian
If non-compliant, LYDO returns
document to SK for revision.
Review of the



Local Sanggunian authorizes

the budget- corresponding
funds shall then be
appropriated to the SK.
