 An interjection is a word that
expresses emotion and is often
followed by an exclamation
What is an point.
interjection?
 It has no grammatical relation to
rest of the sentence.
 An interjection is a word that
expresses strong feeling or
emotion.
 Usually an interjection comes at
the beginning or end of a
sentence.
Interjections!  It is followed by an exclamation
Awesome! point (!) when the emotion is
strong.
 It is followed by a comma (,)
when the emotion is mild.
 Try not overuse interjections!
 Ha!
 Oh!
Common  Ah!
Interjections  Hello!
 Look!
When we express sense of joy, we
can express with:
Hurray! = Hore
Huzza! = Bagus
Ha ha = ha ha! suara tertawa

 Hurray! We are going on holiday.


Example in  Huzza! We can speak english
Sentence fluently now.
 Ha ha! Finally i get it.
When we express of sadness, we
can express with:
Oh! = oh!
Heigh-ho! = aduhhh!
Alack! = sayang!

oh! My cat is died!.


Example in
Heigh-ho! It is already too late to
sentence go to the class.
Alack! I lost my mobile phone.
When we express of mocking
feeling, we can express with:
Bosh! ( Omong kosong)
Pooh! (Mustahil)
Tut! (Ah masa!)

Bosh! This movie is disappointing.
