1 What is the purpose of Reddit?

– Reddit is used to share news, stories, videos and more by its members.
– Members can then upvote or downvote depending on how they feel about the
content. Popular items appear on the front page of Reddit.
– Users, called redditors, can create subreddits based on their interest and have
other redditors follow and post related content.
2 What are the popular features?

– Some website addons can disguise reddit to look like a word document, email,
even lines of code, for those who like to procrastinate at work.
– Highlighting a section of post you wish to quote before you reply to someone
on a comment thread is a very popular shortcut that many people use.
– Gifting gold status or silver status to a post that you greatly enjoyed can give a
fellow user perks that only paying members can usually enjoy.
 3 Who is the intended audience?

– Anyone can use this site. Some

subreddits are inappropriate for kids,
some are inappropriate for anyone really,
but with all the different subreddits you
can find content for anyone of any age.
– Anyone around the world with internet
access is able to view reddit’s content

4 How does it fit into the

5 How might we adopt this social 
media?
– Creating a profile is free. And it can be used as a mobile app or on the
computer. Creating a profile is not even necessary to view the most popular
items.

7 Would you use it?

– I actually use their mobile app frequently. Needing to kill time during breaks at
work, I can browse the subreddits I am subscribed to and pass the time. With
educational subreddits I can also learn about new things every day.
