Winter Internship Report

Sector Information

 Real estate sector comprises four parts i.e. housing, retail, hospitality and
commercial.
 Its market size in India as of December 2018 is US$ 160 billion (IBEF)
which saw a growth rate of 40% from previous financial year.
 It is expected to reach US$ 1 trillion by 2030 as per reports by Bloomberg.
Also its contribution to India's GDP will rise from 5% in 2018 to 11% in 2020
and 13% in 2025 as per report of ET.
 The rapid urbanization and increase in the level of income of middle class
people is going to play huge role in achieving these targets.
Company Information

 Godrej group was founded in 1897 with headquartered in Mumbai,


Maharashtra with aim of economic self sufficiency and excellence.
 It is parent company for Godrej & Boyce, Godrej Nature’s basket,
Godrej consumer product, Godrej properties, Godrej agrovet and
Godrej InfoTech.
 Godrej properties was established in 1990 by the founder Adi Godrej
with headquarter in Mumbai Maharashtra.
 They are involve in the business of the commercial complex,
residential buildings and townships.
 They were awarded as the "Real Estate Company Of The Year" at the
Construction Week India Awards 2015.

Godrej Rejuve Project

 Godrej rejuve project was launched on 8th December 2018 in Keshav Nagar, Pune.
 It is 9 acre project in which 2 acre is dedicated for health park in the project and
theme of the project is “Healthy Living”.
 There are total 5 towers of 23,25,26,27 and 25 floors respectively with total 900
units of flats.
 There are more than 24 amenities available such as health club, swimming pool,
retail shop area, skating park, golf putting, etc.

 Customer were explained various features of the project and the
different amenities provided.
 In sample flats mainly dimensions were clarified so that they can get
proper idea related to available space for use purpose.
 All doubts and queries were handled on the spot so that customers
can get uninterrupted service.
Godrej Corporate Advantage Program

 It was a proposal for a possible tie ups with health sectors in nearby
area with an objective of mutual benefit.
 Only multispecialty hospitals were identified for tie ups like Columbia
Asia Kharadi and Noble Hospital Magarpatta city.
 Successful tie up with Columbia Asia and Noble hospitals were
executed for the (GCAP).
Corporate events for lead Generation

 We were asked to attend several events at Reliance Smart and HSBC with
whom Godrej Properties has already tie up.
 Purpose of the same was to generate lead from the employees of HSBC
and the customer visiting Reliance Smart.
 Deal around 100 customers in both places and convinced around 65 for
site visit at Godrej rejuve project.
Competitors site visit
 Competitors visited included Mantri Vantage and Riverdale who were nearby
project in Kharadi area.
 Mantri vantage was having less amenities but their carpet area for 2 bhk and 3 bhk
was larger than rejuve but on the same time they were having starting price of
Rs.80 lakhs.
 Riverdale was providing glass covering but their price was too high staring from
Rs.1.5 crore and they were also not having as many amenities as rejuve.
Feedbacks and suggestions

 It was a great place to learn as a intern as you people showed a lot of trust
in us which boosted our confidence and created a ownership in us to take
the responsibilities more excitingly.
 Closed swimming pools would be better choice as after handling those many
customer I came to know that many were uncomfortable with open one.
 Also you can provide paid guest house system similar to hotels which will
help the resident to allot their unexpected guest with a accommodation.
 Overall it was great experience which helped me to strengthen my
communication and interpersonal skills. I also got to know that how to solve
a unexpected queries in a particular situation from customers.
