PERSONALITY
The word 'personality' derives from the Latin word - persona, a
projection that other people see and from behind which we speak,
while at the same time keeping our thoughts and feelings hidden.
An individual's unique pattern of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
that persists over time and across situations.
Personality is the total sum of an individual's psycho-physical
aspects.
Personality is the sum total of the ways in which an individual reacts
and interacts with others.

Born on October 15, 1964, in
HANGZHOU, located in the
southeastern part of China.
He rode his bicycle each morning
to a nearby hotel to converse with
FOREIGNERS.
Jack failed the university entrance
exam TWO times.
Received more than a dozen
REJECTIONS – including a job at
KFC, before being hired as an
ENGLISH TEACHER.
Had no experience with
COMPTUTERS or CODING.
First two of his ventures FAILED.
With 17 of his friends, office in his
own small apartment, and a
capital of $60,000.
Four years from failed ventures, Jack
started an online marketplace which he
called ‘ALIBABA.COM’.
In the late 1990s after starting Alibaba,
Ma tried to get venture capital funding in
SILICON VALLEY for Alibaba and got
rejected for running an UNPROFITABLE
business model.

— biggest online commerce company.
• Taobao, Tmall and Alibaba.com — have hundreds of
millions of users, and host millions of merchants and
businesses.

headquarters in Hangzhou, China.
• Alibaba's sales for 2014 are estimated at $420bn
(£257bn), dwarfing Amazon and eBay which had a
combined turnover of $90bn in 2013.
