II. How the turbines works ?

 Vertical-axis wind turbines

 wind turbines use wind to generate
electricity
 A wind turbine works on a simple principle:
energy in the wind turns two or three
propeller-like blades around a rotor.
 The rotor is connected to the main shaft,
which spins a generator to create electricity

III. Impact of Roscoe wind farm
 Alternative energy & No gas emission
affordable, clean and sustainable
produces no greenhouse gases or radioactive or toxic waste.

III. Impact of Roscoe wind farm
 Reduce the cost & Revive promote areas
Wind Power is cheaper than Fossil fuels
Cost of wind production ranges between $36–51 per megawatt-hour (MWh)
Coal costs range from $65–150 per MWh and gas from $52–218 per MWh

According to the American Wind Energy Association, the $3.3 billion in annual
savings includes a few key elements:
 Less sulfur dioxide and nitrogen pollution ($723 million).
 Fewer carbon dioxide emissions (more than $1 billion).
 Savings against possible fuel price volatilities (almost $61 million).
 Savings against expected increases in other energy sources (estimated at over
$491 million).
