    Sir Syed Ahmad Khan was a 19th century Muslim scholar and social reformer from India. He received a traditional Islamic education in his youth before joining the British government.     Sister Name: Safit ul nisa Begum
    Matternal Grand Father : Khwafa Farid ud din
    He was the prime minister of the Mughal court

    Sir Syed Ahmad Khan received his education under the old
    system of prevailing at that time
    Shah Ghulam Ali tought him the first Arabic Alphabet
    (Bismilllah)
    He learn to read the Holy Quran under A female teacher
    And then moulvi hamid ud din became his private tutor
    He learnt Persian, Arabic, Urdu, mathematics and Medicine

    At the age of 19 his formal education came to an end
    Then he start the job of Record Keeper (Naib munshi) in the
    east india company in1839 and then in 1841 he qualified as a
    sub judge and served in the judicial department at various
    places (Fateh Por, Delhi ,Bijnor)
    May 10,1857 he was served as a cheif assessment officer at
    the court of bijnor
    He spent nearly 20 years judicial service

    primarily an educationl venture
    Aligarh movement was the push up to establish a modern
    education system for the muslims papulation of British india
    Then sir syed Ahmad Khan held muslims and began establishing
    schools at muradabad in 1858 where persian and English taught
    In 1863 established another school at ghazipur
    He also founded a scientific society in 1864,
    MAO High school in 1875 which was later became MAO College
    in1877
    And Then became Aligarh Muslim University in 1920 (After 22
    years of his death)
