shall endeavor to integrate health systems
into province –wide and city-wide health
systems

 Shall develop guidelines for the
implementation of the universal health
bill
 Shall train UHC council with regards to
the execution of the UHC bill
UHCC FUNCTION
 Shall disseminate directives from DOH
to the province and city-wide health
systems
 Shall pool and manage special health
funds all resources intended for health
services
 Shall serve as the advisory body to the
DOH
PROVINCIAL/CITY HEALTH
BOARD FUNCTIONS
 Shallexercise administrative and technical
supervision over health facilities and health
human resources within their respective
territorial jurisdiction

nominate a representative in the
UHCC
