Practice Teaching
Course Description
• This course aims to train the student teachers in the
art of teaching their major subject by actual practice in
the classroom under the guidance and supervision of
the cooperating teacher.
• They participate in all phases of a classroom teacher’s
work, such as instructional planning, classroom
management, appraisal of pupil progress, preparation
of class records, and organization of co-curricular
activities.
• This course provides the student teachers
opportunities to apply the principles and strategies of
teaching and evaluation in actual teaching-learning
situations.

Course Pre-requisite/Eligibility
• Statement of Co-Responsibility
o Upload the accomplished form of Statement of Co-responsibility
with signatures.
• Student Resume
o Submit an accomplished resume of yourself
• Cooperating School
o Submit the Historical Background of your cooperating school in
not less than 500 words.

• Lesson Plan
o Submit three (3) of your best lesson plan prepared during your
practice teaching.

o Students' Evaluation of Student Teacher
o Student Teacher's Evaluation of Cooperating Teacher
• Daily Student Teacher Journal
o In one(1) MSWord file, submit your daily journal log using the format
below.
• Day #, Date, and Time
• Records of events and things I accomplished
• Lessons learned
• Daily Time Record 300 hours with Signatures
