• CONCLUSION
WATER
• Water is a transparent, tasteless, odorless, and nearly colorless chemical substance,
which is the main constituent of Earth's streams, lakes, and oceans, and the fluids of most
living organisms. It is vital for all known forms of life, even though it provides no calories
or organic nutrients. Its chemical formula is H2O, meaning that each of its molecules
contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms, connected by covalent bonds.
IMPORTANCE OF WATER
• It helps create saliva.
• It regulates your body temperature.
• It protects your tissues, spinal cord, and joints.
• It helps excrete waste through perspiration, urination, and defecation.
• It helps maximize physical performance.
• It helps fight off illness
• It prevents overall dehydration
SCARCITY OF WATER
• Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet water demand. It affects
every continent and was listed in 2019 by the World Economic Forum as one of the
largest global risks in terms of potential impact over the next decade.[1] It is manifested
by partial or no satisfaction of expressed demand, economic competition for water
quantity or quality, disputes between users, irreversible depletion of groundwater, and
negative impacts on the environment. Half of the world’s largest cities experience water
scarcity. The essence of global water scarcity is the geographic and temporal mismatch
between freshwater demand and availability.
SURVEY 1- KRISHNA COLONY
• Different water samples of water collected from five houses.
• One sample is of drinking water.
• Another sample is of tap water.
• Five different test has done
1. Hardness of water.
2. pH of water.
3. Salinity of water.
4. Conductance of water.
5. TDS of water.
