 Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in
1995 by singer, pianist and songwriter Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody.
After recording two songs (Evanescence EP and Sound Asleep) with the
guitarist and singer, in the year 2000 they decided to add to their third
member keyboardist David Hodges. With the help of the record company the
band released their first album "Fallen" with the record Wind-up Records in
2003.
