INTRODUCTION

•Bangalore is 6th worst city in world for commuting.

School of Civil Engineering, REVA University

• Situation is worsening every day in areas which house a
majority of the city’s IT industry and other sectors.

• Increase in vehicle population show no signs of abating

and government is reluctant to introduce punitive
measures.

 Statement of Problem

“Increased Urban
developemnt has
increased traffic volume
significantly while
existing infrastructure
proves insufficent to carry
extra volume load. “

4
OBJECTIVES
 To find short-term expliotation to
reduce volume.

School of Civil Engineering, REVA University

 To find efficent and effective
alternatives of transportation.
 To understand why large traffic
volume exist on roads.
 To find ways to curb environmental
threats posed by increased
combustion-driven vehicles.

TRAFFIC ANALYSIS IN BENGALURU

 Traffic analysis is the process of intercepting

and examining messages in order to deduce
information from patterns in communication,

which can be performed even when the
messages are encrypted.
 In general, the greater the number of
messages observed, or even intercepted and
stored, the more can be inferred from the
traffic.
 Traffic analysis can be performed in the
context of military intelligence, counter-
intelligence, or pattern-of-life analysis, and is
a concern in computer security.
 Traffic analysis tasks may be supported by 10
dedicated computer software programs.
