THE WHEELS FOR THE
WHOLE DAY
The teacher motivates the students by asking some questions
related to the concept.
What do you think about children working as labours ?
Have you seen any child labours in your daily life ?
Can you give some reasons for children working as labours ?
Tell me some of the actions you would take to rescue them ?
What would be the mind set of the child labour ?
Do you think employing children for work is a right thing ?
LINE 1-4
From the first four lines, we saw that the children are so
tired and they can’t run or even leap. Normally children like to
play in the meadows. But the children working as labours will fall
asleep in the meadows as they are so tired working all day.
Line 5-12
Next lines are about the childrens pain. Their
knees tremble because of tiredness. They could can’t
even control their heavy eyelids from sleep. Due to
their sleepy eyes the reddest flower seems pale as
snow. They drag the wheels whole day in the dark
underground.
Lines 13-18
All the day the wheels use to turn without rest, due to the
rotating wheels the children could feel the wind in their faces. They
feel that the walls also turn. Due the turning wall the sky seen from
the window blank also seems to turn. Not only the sky but also the
long light falling from the wall also seems to turn.
line 19 to 24
The children feels that the black flies crawling on the wall
also seems to rotate. All the things in the underground seems to
rotate. All the day the iron wheels are rotating. Sometimes the
children could pray that the wheels could stop and let it be silent for
one day.

though there are many government
actions to stop this crime, it still
happens in some parts of the nation.
We the young seeds should completely
try to stop the children working in
their young age.
