DjVu Graphics in SIS Web

What is it?
Helper application for your browser (Internet Explorer) to
improve the viewing of photographs, images, and
schematics.
Eliminates the red X sometimes seen when viewing
graphics.
SIS Web graphics use same viewer as SIS DVD/Network

Select djvuctrl-6.1.4-en-r24569.msi link to


download and run (PC administrative privilege
may be required.)

Image Display Preferences

In Line
Must save allows immediate use of the
pan (click & drag the hand)
 magnifying glass (hold
the Ctrl key down and move
the cursor)
Not In Line
must use View Image Link to
pan and magnify

Magnified image can be


activated by holding the Ctrl key
down when moving the cursor.

View Image link:


• redisplays the image
• enables DjVu graphics toolbar
• enables right-click graphic menu
If DjVu plug-in not installed image
will not be displayed

Previous Screen button closes the View

is used to click
and drag the
image within
the window

Hold Ctrl and move the


mouse to change the
pan hand into a
magnifying glass

Magnify

Viewing details may be


easier with the magnifier
activated.
With the cursor over the
image, press and hold
the ‘Ctrl’ key, then move
the mouse to see the
magnifier.
Release Ctrl and move
the mouse to remove
the magnifier.

Mode command

Enlarge an
image by
selecting Mode,
then Select
Zoom

Select Zoom Command

The cursor changes from


Pan mode to Select Zoom
mode, becoming a
crosshair with a magnifier.
Move the crosshair to a
corner of an area, click and
hold the left mouse button,
dragging the box over the
area to enlarge.
Release the mouse button.

Active Mode

The selected area fills


the window.
Select Zoom mode is
active until the Pan
mode is selected on
the toolbar or use the
Mode command from
the right click menu.

View Command

Return to the
previous view
by selecting
View,
Previous View
from the pop-
up menu or
the toolbar.

Previous View Command

The previous
Fit Page view
of the image is
redisplayed.
Right click
again to
display the
DjVu pop-up
menu.

Save .djv file

Select Save Page


As…
The Save File As
dialog box appears.
The .djv image file
can be renamed and
saved.

Copy Image Command

Capture & copy an image


by selecting Copy Image
Functions like Windows
“copy & paste”

Export to File Command

Save the image by


selecting Export to
File… The Export
File As dialog box
appears.
Rename and save
as a .bmp image
file.

Print Command

Select Print… to
display the Print dialog
box.
Click the Reduce to Fit
radio button to shrink
a large image onto
one sheet of paper.
Click both the Current
Zoom and the
Selection radio
buttons to print a
zoomed portion of an
image to fill a page.
