The aim of education is to manifest in our lives the perfection,

which is the very nature of our inner self. This perfection is the
realization of the infinite power which resides in everything and
every-where-existence, consciousness and bliss (satchidananda).

• As per Mahatma Gandhi

Education is the all round development of the individual– Overall

personality development.
 What should be-
• Bread Earning to Human making
• Education – Transform raw Human (Biological) into a True human
being (Spiritual)
• Multi psychic personality to Integration of
faculties of human Personality.
• Exam oriented Learning to Learning to be.
• Repetition and accumulation to Creation and Construction.
• Competition to cooperation
• Conflict to Clarity.
• Duality to Oneness
• Excelling others to Evolving within .
 LEARNING
• Not dependent upon classes and courses
– though these can be very useful tools for
learning
• Does not require a degree, certificate, or grade to prove
its worth
– though clearly these have social value that
most people would be unwise to ignore
• It does not most of the time happen consciously.
Sri Aurobindo’s three principles of true teaching-
• “Nothing can be taught”.
• “the mind has to be consulted in its
own growth
• “to work from the near to the far from
that which is to that which shall be”.
• The concept of joyful learning is incomplete without yoga
and meditation
