Instructional Project 1

By A.M.
Trees Study For Pre Kindergarten
Bloom’s Taxonomy
Benjamin Bloom and his co-workers published Bloom’s Taxonomy in
1956,basically it’s the classification system that, define different levels
of human cognition, explain the process of learning under 6 levels.
In 2001, Lorin Anderson, a former student of Bloom’s, with his other
companions revised Bloom’s Taxonomy. In the revised version these six
categories renamed from noun to verb. Categories are Remembering,
Understanding, Applying, Analyzing, Evaluating, and Creating. These
levels are from fundamental to complex.
Bloom’s Taxonomy
Instructional Objective 1
Remembering

The students will be able to label the parts of the tree,

such as roots, trunk, stem, leaves, flowers, fruits, and
seeds. Also able to define how the plants grow, important
elements necessary for plant growth, and how they
change during the season.
Instructional Objective 2
Understanding

The students will be able to understand

and explain life cycle of plant. Compare
and contrast the shapes of the leaves.
Instructional Objective 3
Applying

The student will be able to do

experiment with the different kinds of
seeds and identify that they produce
different plants.
Instructional Objective 4
Analyzing

The students will be able to compare and distinguish plants by their

seeds, also able to discover how the important elements (Water, Air, and
Food) help in plant growth.
Instructional Objective 5
Evaluating

After presenting all information, the student will be able to evaluate,

determine, and explain about trees, measured by rubric scoring.
Instructional Objective 6
Creating

Combine elements in a new pattern, and compile information in

different ways, able to create the picture of a tree by using their
imagination and will elaborate it in their own way.
Informational Objective
The students will learn about tree, and able to explain about life cycle
and parts of a tree.
Effective Teaching Skills-Self Evaluation
Reflection
• I have completed self-evaluation, my score is 69.

• This rubric self-evaluation showed me that where I am standing, my

weakness and my strength. I need to improve myself in quality
planning and preparation, in this criteria, my weakness is to select the
instructional goals and make a good lesson plan. My strength is in
classroom environment, managing it, create a positive relationship
between teacher and students, and organizing the physical space in a
classroom.
