Cement Mix LW+

32
What is CEMENT MIX LW+?
An integral waterproofing compound that makes concrete
& plaster cohesive and prevents segregation.

When to use?
It is used in New Construction as a preventive measure.

Target Group
Home Owner Mason / Civil Contractors Engineer / Architect

33
How to use?

 Mix cement & aggregates to concrete mixer as per the mix design,
mix in dry state for 1–2 minutes.

 Start addition of 75–80% mixing water & mix for 2-3 minutes.

 Nerolac Waterproof X Cement Mix LW+ is added as per the

recommended dosage into the remaining mixing / gauging water,
then add to concrete mixer & mix for another 2 minutes.

 Place the concrete or apply plaster, as needed.

 Cure the applied mortar or concrete as per good construction

practices.

34
What it does?
Better workability of freshly mixed concrete/ plaster/ mortar by reducing
water to cement ratio at optimum dosages

Provides better compressive and tensile strength at very low dosages

• Reduces the water content by 5% to 10%

Reduces shrinkage and crack development in plaster & concrete

Improves waterproofing property of the hardened concrete/ plaster by

decreasing its porosity

Prevents Dampness Prevents Cracks Better strength to Structure Better durability

*Compressive Strength : The resistance of a material to breaking under compression.

*Tensile Strength : The resistance of a material to breaking under tension
