Genesis of Jack Row
• Jack was born in Nottingham, England in 1985
• An interest in art, design and technology developed from an earl
y age, and he knew his career lay within the creative arts
• Jack currently designs and crafts his writing instruments and acc
essories in his studio, based in the heart of Birmingham's historic
Jewellery-Quarter and was awarded the prestigious Robb Report
"Best of the Best" award for the Architect collection in 2012
• Award winning British artisan and goldsmith, Jack Row, designs a
nd creates elegant writing instruments and accessories. Working
exclusively in Gold, Silver and Platinum, and utilising precious ge
mstones including diamonds and sapphires, the virtuoso designe
r skilfully unites traditional goldsmithing skills with the latest tec
hnology to craft beautiful artefacts that are as much objets d'art,
as they are fine jewellery and writing instruments.
FDI rules
• As per the latest policy issued by Department of Industrial Policy and Prom
otion (DIPP), 100% foreign direct investment (FDI) is allowed in case of sing
le brand retail
• The FDI is more than 51%, at least 30% of the value of goods should be sou
rced from India
• In the initial five years, this requirement has to be made as an average of t
otal value of goods purchased in the five years. After that, every year 30% r
equirement has to be completed.

Initial Plan:

• Premium Malls: Palladium in Mumbai, UB City in Bangalore, DLF E

• Premium Hotels: Collaborate with Taj Group
Future Plan:
– Cities: Tap other metro cities Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad,
Kolkata
– Location: Airports, collaborate with other premium heritage hotel
