Moscow is the capital and the most populous city
of Russia, with 13.2 million residents in the city
limits and 17 million within the urban area.
Moscow is one of Russia’s federal cities. At the
Soviet era, Moscow is the capital of the Soviet
Union. Moscow is a major political, economic,
cultural, and scientific center of Russia and Eastern
Europe, as well as the largest city (both by
population and by area) entirely on the European
continent. Moscow is situated on the Moskva River
in the Central Federal District of European Russia,
making it Europe’s most populated inland city.
Moscow Kremlin
The Moscow Kremlin or simply the Kremlin is a
fortified complex at the heart of Moscow,
overlooking the Moskva River to the south, Saint
Basil’s Cathedral and Red Square to the east, and
the includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the
enclosing Kremlin wall with Kremlin towers. Also
within this complex now is the Grand Kremlin
palace that was formerly the tsar’s Moscow
residence.
Red Square
Red Square is a city square in Moscow. It separates
the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and now the
official residence of the president of Russia, from a
historic merchant quarter know as Kitai-gorod.
Red Square is often considered to be the central
square of Moscow since the city’s major streets,
which connect to Russia’s major highways
originate in the square.

Of all the language of Russia, Russian is the only
official language at the national level. There are 35
different language which are considered official
language in various regions of Russia, along with
Russian. The official language is Russian, but there
are language that recognized as official (state) in
constitutions of the republics of Russia like
Adyghe, Abaza, Altai, and Bashkir.

AUTUMN WINTER
The high season for travelling to Russia is May through
October .This is the best time to tour Russia and admire its
masterpieces like fountains of peterhof, parks of pushkin
and quaint countryside of the golden Ring. However,
during summers main tourist routesand attractions are
rather crowded and sometimes even impossible to access.
So the best time to visit Russia is in inter-seasons like late
spring and early fall. You might be in for a big surprise.
Russia had lots of festival like Wild Mint Folk Festival
and Victory Day.
Wild Mint Folk Festival is celebrated on June. This
large, open air world folk music festival takes place in
the Ethnomir complex in Moscow every summer.
Over several days, Russian and international
musicians perform a variety of folk-based genres -
afrobeat, ethno-jazz, raga, Russian folk-and there are
food stalls, markets, and body and soul worshops.
Victory Day is celebrated on 9 May.
 Victory Day celebrates the end of World War 2
with parades, spectacular fireworks and
displays of military strength. The most
impressive event is held in Red Square, where
all military equipment are on display on the
ground and military planes fly overhead.
