THE VARANASI GHATS -

DESH KA TICKET TO HEAVEN (SWARG) - BANARAS

Ghats in Varanasi are riverfront steps leading to the banks of the River Ganges. The city has
88 ghats. Most of the ghats are bathing and puja ceremony ghats, while a few are used
exclusively as cremation sites. Sacred natural sites also represent ancient and
profound cultural values. While sacred natural sites are connected to the human spirit and
intangible heritage they also have strong material components.
KABIRVAD -
A TREE WITH STRONG ROOTS LAUGHS AT STORMS.

Kabirvad is an island on the river Narmada at

a distance of about 16km from Bharuch city.
The main attraction here is a gigantic banyan
tree covering an area of 3.7 acres. It is at this
place that saint Kabirdas meditated and the
tree grew from a meswak stick (used for
brushing the teeth) that was thrown here by
the saint.
MECCA – THE SACRED CITY
THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS

Mecca is, for many, the heart of Islam. It is the birthplace of Muhammad, the direction to which
Muslims turn when they pray, and the site of pilgrimage that annually draws some three million
Muslims from all corners of the world. The Sacred City is a microcosm of the Muslim world.
