Company Background
 Management and Supervision

- A small starting company under the management and

supervision of Mr. Sabas Intina, together with its twelve (12)
cargo representatives who ensure the delivery operations of
goods from the airport towards its market areas.

- Part of their vision is to deliver the goods with maintained

quality, on time delivery, and build good long term relationship
with their trusted suppliers, airlines, and most especially clients.
Company Location

- Before, it was located near the

Barangay Hall 191 of Pasay City.

- Currrently, their services are only

managed in the house of Mr. Intina
which is also located at at Electrical
Road, Domestic, Pasay City.

 Balut Eggs

- A known food which is commonly sold by street vendors in the Philippines and
Vietnam.

- Considered to be the goods that benefit the company most in terms of revenue taking
higher number of customer orders.

- Freshly harvested from the management’s trusted farm companies.

Fertilized duck eggs are incubated within 40 - 42.5°C with

relative high humidity

Embryo are starting to develop

Eggs are removed from the incubation at the 18th day

resulting to a partially developed embryo

Preparation for delivery

 Supplier
Trusted farm companies:
- Rinzal Farm in Candaba Pampanga
- Marivic Mallari Farm in Bulacan
- Cris Nava Farm in San Fernando, Pampanga

- The farms are the one responsible of delivering the desired number of ordered
eggs by the company.

 Packaging
- Egg trays (carton) are provided by the farm where the eggs
are placed.
- Most commonly used crate for eggs.
Egg Tray (carton) - The dimensions of the plastic crate used are 35’ x 15’ x 15’
allocated for twelve (12) egg trays.

- Cost of buying the balut from the
farm is Php 10.00 per egg, which
covers the expense for the air
freight with an amount of Php 2.00.

- The cost of selling each balut is

Php 12.00.

- In situation that the balut are

broken, the company lowered the
cost to Php 5.00
Market Area of ACS Forwarder
- Areas bounding the delivery operations of the
company which are mainly located on some
part of Visayas and Mindanao.

- These are Davao, Palawan, Dumaguete,

Tacloban, Cagayan, Tagbilaran, Butuan,
Osamis, General Santos, Zamboanga, and
Dipolog.

- Each of these areas has its respective people

managing the operations.
 For scope of the study
- Tagbilaran area is the only location being
handled by Mr. Intina.

- Comprising this area are the town of Batuan,

Bilar, San Pascual, Talibon, Trinidad, and San
Miguel.

Recommendations
 Availability of two contact persons
- The company should consider to have another contact person who is always
available and if possible a smooth talker (since it usually shows a good
impression).
- It will enable to have a lesser time of doing the transaction through phone and
will also help to offer different options to customer.
- Since the company is a starting company, it is also recommended for future
improvement to have an online service in which customers can reach the
company representative through online access.
 Data of Defects
- The company is recommended to have data of defects in which the defective
items were monitored and the reasons of those items having defects is included
in the data.
- It will able to minimize the number of defective products by taking actions and
analyzing the causes of defects.
- It will help the company to monitor the quality of the balut eggs that are being
delivered to the customers.
