Introduction of Positive Pressure

Hazard and Control

POSITIVE PRESSURE
While reaching Projects MC’s ,the CSU transition phase is marking the onset of the introduced pressure
hazard .Although it still low ( between 2 to 10 bars ) with inert gas ( N2) but with Waha recovered gas and
Adam line-up this pressure will increase considerably ( 35 to 45 bars ) with all associated hazards. Despite
the foreseen mechanical isolation southward the LVS 2 and with leak rate’s D valves ( Non TSO) the under
pressure hydrocarbon gas permeation can be expected and more constraint and higher SIMOPS will be
observed for remaining project activities.
REMEMBER
 I confirm the safety precautions with my Supervisor or the Person in Charge of the work.

 I make sure all signs are understood and respected

 I respect barriers and exclusion zones. I confirm with the person in Charge that it is safe to enter
